What is Reality Works?

Reality Works is the world’s first fully networked Virtual Reality 3D Sketch tool for Automotive Design.

Who developed Reality Works?

Seymourpowell - the UK’s leading Transport design and innovation agency. 

Why was it developed?

We recognise that collaborative design in VR / full perspective 3D is the future. We needed this tool to help us create innovative solutions for our clients at the speed they needed them, and to be able to present and review them in ways they needed. A tool with the adequate functionality and usability did not exist, so we built it.  

How does Seymourpowell use Reality Works?

Everyday, the Seymourpowell design team visualise, develop and present innovative new 2 and 4 wheeler vehicle concepts for our automotive clients around the globe. Being able to sketch early ideas in 3D and at 1:1 scale allows us to skip time consuming early iteration processes, and deliverers a ready to edit 3D CAD model at astounding speed. It has transformed the automotive design work flow at our studio. 

Why is Reality Works now being made available to me? 

We’d like to partner with the global design community to enable new potential in the world of design and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Only you, and your unique requirements and feedback – can help us do that. We also believe in sharing.

Reality Works is (currently) for automotive designers, modellers and engineers looking to enhance and streamline their workflow with greater capacity for creative expression and collaboration. We invite you to try the system, experiment and see how it can help you.

You are welcome to use the tool internally with your colleagues at your design studio, until midnight 4th May 2019.

After the trial period has ended, how can I keep using Reality Works?

You can purchase the basic version (beta release) that you have been trialling, for a single-use license for £5000 + VAT for a 12 month period.
